I believe we create life’s value. When we forget about our ability to live with authentic, empowered and joyful choice, we step into the passenger seats of our lives. In the passenger seat, we live to be the best for others, and forget how to be the best for ourselves.

How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become an Empowerment and Wellness Coach?                                   

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today – coaching people like you on exactly what to do to feel more empowered, develop a healthy relationship with your body and feel more connected to yourself and those around you. That defining moment, happened in 2012, although in reality, it had been building since 2011.                                    

Growing up, I was the ”go-getter” and the ”helper.” I helped people with their problems, mediated arguments and kept the peace and was good at it. It wasn’t until my 20’s, that I realized these skills had been keeping me disconnected from my true values, relationships, life and body that I really wanted.  

Perhaps it was the large sense of responsibility, several years of sexual abuse or perhaps a combination of both and many other things, that made it hard to prioritize my health and well-being.  For YEARS, I subconsciously sabotaged my health efforts by staying busy (always), using food and sugar to cope with experiences and couldn’t stick to an exercise program to save my life. I even hired a personal trainer at 16 for extra accountability. Bless his heart, he damn well tried his best, but that wasn’t enough. haha

In my 20s, I noticed I was emotionally detached in my personal relationships even though I was successful and consistently the highest performer at the jobs I worked. This success and ”busyness” masked that deep down, I wasn’t connected to my body’s needs or how to be authentic with MY values, wants or desires.  I was young, and already felt burned out. I didn’t understand how to love myself or how to prioritize my health. I wanted to understand my body, to be healthy, and find a way to get off the on-again/off-again health kick rollercoaster.

In 2012, enough was enough. I knew that if I was going to get my health mastered, I needed to start treating it more seriously. It took 2 years of facing my inner resistance to really start to get comfortable and rewrite my relationship to my health. Even with a bachelors in kinesiology as a health and fitness specialist, I still had to fight to actually implement it. Every day, I had to face my own fears of being seen while also having to show up for myself, in order to be able to show up for myself, loved ones and clients.

The moment I started facing myself and fears was the moment it all changed. I no longer was run by my subconscious telling me what to eat, whether or not to exercise or whether or not I should go for what I want. I really began to foster the inner tools, heal the wounds and then start aligning with the life and values that lit me up (without the desire to people please!). I know from my own experience that knowledge of what to do isn’t enough to actually achieve goals. I’ve learned that when we face our barriers, move through them with compassion and then take action, anything is possible.

A huge ah-ha for me was a few years back when I was sitting with a client who had come for personal training and needed someone to talk to. She asked that we spend a few sessions diving into what was going on with her health and the challenges it brought her. We explored the ins and outs of her health journey with the exhaustion, mental fogginess and issues eating without any doctors being able to explain why. I broke out of the typical script a trainer usually does and just sat with her in her process, without trying to fix it, without telling her how to feel and worked with her to really understand what aspects of her life could be impacting this and have her realize her next steps. She ended up walking away with more relief, confidence, and connection than she had in a long time!

That moment was a lightbulb for me. It was the first time I had worked with someone in a holistic way that approached multiple life areas, emotions, habits and routines without just prescribing or recommending and exercise or nutrition options. This brought faster, more powerful results than exercising and diet had!

That lit a fire which led me to get even more education in transformational coaching and holistic nutrition and start my own business so I could craft the programs that would make a lifelong difference for people. I started teaching entrepreneurs and leaders how they can create bodies, mindsets and lives they love and I watched them step into unleashed confidence, closer relationships, more joy and a body they love and appreciate.

Over the last 11 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of private clients, spoken in front of countless groups: I lived my dream of traveling the world, feeling empowered with my health, connected in my relationships and running an impactful business I’m excited to do every day. I have created the Health Unleashed System™, a series of 12 steps every person needs to apply to create sustainable vibrant health, a body they love, an empowering mindset and unleashed confidence and connection to themselves and others.

What Makes You Different from Other Wellness and Empowerment Coaches?

I not only have personal experience but I also go down to the root of what is happening with my clients and we transform from the inside out. I combine my education, personal experience and spiritual background to bring intuitive, practical and transformative results for my clients.

I know what it’s like to have a big vision and yet feel a level of disconnection within and with others. I know what it’s like to have people think you have it all figured out, while trying to figure out how to juggle it all and knowing there are gaps. I have gone from being disconnected from my body’s needs and emotions to being able to share effectively what I am experiencing while also creating a healthy relationship with my body, eating habits and exercise. I know the difficulty in getting started and creating a body you love without wanting to spend all your time stressing about the how.

Although we will occasionally touch upon nutritional science, exercise and other “health coach-y” things, you will have me as your confidence and wellness expert and consultant as well as your partner in crime and confidant. What this means to you is that you get a wise-sage-meets-kick-butt authentic health and life coach. I’m also very spiritual and don’t pretend to hide it either. Because I’m not delicate, you’ll always get a straight to point quick and honest response from me.

I’m concerned with you getting your confidence, health and body to places of your dreams in a sustainable and real way. You may not like what I have to tell you – but you can be sure I will always tell you the truth. The truth about what’s standing in the way of your success and how to get rid of it FAST so you can start getting results in record time (and I throw in a healthy dose of humor and inspiration, which always helps!).

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

The Health Unleashed™ workshops, products and programs were created for people who absolutely excited and dead serious about breaking out of their rut, mastering their health and wellness in a sustainable way and ending what I call “the on-again/ off-again health cycle” or “chronic dieter phenomenon. They were created for you to put systems in place within a few months (sometimes weeks!) which will lead you to gaining more confidence, results, freedom and peace of mind with your health so you can have more energy, clarity and action in creating the lifestyle, relationships and financial success of your dreams. That’s what I call FREEDOM.

Being a high achieving go-getter myself, I’m known to work best with other high achieving go-getters who are committed to their success no matter what, who are super ready to create the body and mindset they love, and are ready to do the work to bring their lives to new heights. Consider what you’ll do with me to be a high-octane crash course on everything you need to know to succeed in your health, wellness and confidence. You’ll be expected to take serious and consistent action. For What Type of professionals are your programs NOT going to work?

Please know I’m very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them)

The Health Unleashed programs are NOT for those who have no money coming in and are absolutely, financially desperate, at least not right away. It’s been my experience that people in financial crisis do not have the time and/or energy to prioritize their health in a meaningful way and thus do not do the work necessary (probably because they spend a lot of time each week worrying about how to get next month’s rent check or mortgage payment.) If you fall within this category, it’s absolutely OK. We’ve all been in times of financial crisis at one point or another. Do yourself (3) favors: 

  1. Get some money coming in with a full-time or part-time job at the very least, and then call me.This will take the edge off and provide a little more peace of mind. Mostly, it will de-clutter your mind enough to focus on your Health Unleashed™ assignments and the BIG picture.
  2. Sign up for the free Newsletter over email HERE. The free information will get you started towards your goals until you’re ready to work with me one-on-one.
  3. Make a point to participate and soak up the free content on my socials. I’m most active on Tiktok and Instagram

Doing these three things will really help you get primed for our work. When you’re ready, call me and we’ll get you started. (I’m in no rush and will be here when you need me 🙂 ) Another thing to note: If you are a whiner or chronic skeptic, or constantly make excuses for not completing your assignments (without a willingness to stop), I gently and respectfully ask that you not call and I hope you understand why. We probably won’t be a good match, and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair? I am committed to you achieving all you desire and it is important to me to work with people committed to themselves as well. Odds are, if you are still reading this, you are committed and ready to step into your dream body and life.

What exactly is the Health Unleashed™ System and What Does in Include?

Unleashing your empowerment and health begins with understanding what fuels your fire and what you seek to achieve in this world. From this place, we do the internal work to integrate your mind, body and soul to help bring that vision to life. We cover all facets of healthy living including the relationships to our bodies and food, to implementing healthy habits emotionally, physically and spiritually while clearing out internal and external barriers that may make them difficult to actualize. Gain tools on how to navigate resistance and kick it to the curb when you are working on bringing your goals to life. We will also address the habits we use as coping mechanisms and rewrite them to more empowering ones.

Going online or in recipe books for recipes can be inspiring, but it’s hard to know if the ingredients actually help you achieve your goals. Learn the ins and outs of modifying your favorite recipes into tasty ways that keep you on track while still eating foods you like. You will receive support in knowing how to eat out in a way that is supportive to your goals when cooking at home isn’t an option.

12. Integrate, Celebrate and Graduate

We’ll focus a lot of our time celebrating wins and creating the new habit of celebrating what’s showing up for you. We go over elements of integrating and communicating your experiences with others so you have more support and community in the way that is truly fulfilling for you and it becomes easier to maintain the new habits and lifestyle you’ve created.

How quickly can I expect results?

That depends on how quickly you can make those inner shifts. Some clients are ready to go and unleash their health in a very short time frame, sometimes even a few weeks while others have a bit more work to do first. It also depends on how much work you’ve already been doing on your health, what elements are missing and systems in place to help you achieve your goals.

How can I guarantee myself that I will get more empowerment, health and a body I love, in record time?

Do all of your homework. Be totally committed to your success. Understand that this is a process, a proven one, that works if you take action and implement all of the steps.
